Open ENLoCC signed an open letter to EU Ministers for dedicated EU transport funding

OPEN ENLoCC has signed an open letter to EU Ministers of General Affairs Council and the EU Ministers of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council, calling for a strong and centrally coordinated EU transport budget.

Signed together with 44 European transport associations, OPEN ENLoCC considers a coordinated European budget an essential factor to build a modern, resilient, and competitive transport network capable of addressing future challenges.

Transport represents not only the backbone of Europe’s internal market, but also a key sector to foster connectivity with the rest of the world by building resilient supply chains and industrial competitiveness.

Transport funding is a crucial instrument to improve regional collaborative logistics in the EU, creating opportunities to strength collaboration to face cross border challenges and creating market cohesion in this sector.
