OPEN ENLoCC, the European network of Logistics Competence Centres, working to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the logistics sector, today announced the hiring of two new staff members.
Elisa Bianchi will join OPEN ENLoCC as Communication Manager. She is a graduate of La Sapienza University of Rome with a degree in Media, Digital Communication, and Journalism. She has extensive experience in communications for the logistics sector, having worked for a number of companies and organizations in Italy and abroad.
In her role, Elisa will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for OPEN ENLoCC’s projects, including Food4CE and GRETA. Food4CE is a project that aims to develop a sustainable food supply chain in Europe, while GRETA is a project that aims to improve the efficiency of urban freight transport in the European Union.
Riccardo Maratini will join OPEN ENLoCC as a Senior Transportation Engineer. He is a graduate of the University of Padova with a degree in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Transportation Engineering from the University of Trieste. He has over 20 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector, having worked for a number of companies as well as institutions in Italy and abroad.
In his role, Riccardo will be responsible for the technical and financial aspects of OPEN ENLoCC’s projects. He will work closely with Elisa to ensure that the projects are implemented effectively and efficiently.
